About
Connor MacLeod’s career is defined not only by professional success, but by a deep commitment to community, mentorship, and giving back. As the owner and operator of Tall Tailz Charters, Connor has built a business grounded in integrity, skill, and a genuine love for the sport of fishing. Beyond his charter operations, Connor is a recognized public figure within the Rhode Island and Northeast fishing communities. He has been featured as a published author in fishing magazines and regularly serves as a seminar speaker for the Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association, sharing technical expertise and firsthand knowledge earned through decades on the water. He is also the founder of Tall Tailz Tog Jigz, a custom, one-of-a-kind fishing lure company designed specifically for serious tautog anglers. Connor’s dedication extends far beyond business. In 2014, he founded the Dennis Fitz Foundation in memory of a close friend lost to addiction. The foundation raises funds to support addiction awareness and drug prevention programs. Each year, Connor donates six to seven fishing charters to charities and fundraisers and personally takes groups of foster boys fishing at no cost, using the water as a space for mentorship and healing. When he’s not on the water, Connor enjoys hand-eye sports such as ping pong, cornhole, darts, and Polish horseshoes. He has also developed a passion for artifact hunting, searching New England shorelines for arrowheads and ancient relics. Through his work, philanthropy, and leadership, Connor MacLeod continues to represent what it means to build a career with purpose, generosity, and respect for tradition.
